Now about this chip, at least the guy isn't trying to profit off of it. Still, I can understand your concern. Georgia hasn't been a BLUE state in well over 10 years. So what does it mean? ;-)

I don't know what's more freightening: the blue chip purveyor's clear misunderstanding of "topography" (I wasn't aware there were mountains along I-16), or the fact that people are actually bidding on this thing and that SEVERAL of those people are BIDDING AGAINST THEMSELVES!

You don't bid against yourself on eBay. When you see what looks like that in eBay's proxy bid environment, you are either:

a. Seeing someone who is padding their own bid by entering increasingly larger bids (at no expense to their original bid value).

b. Seeing someone who is entering successively higher bids that are still losing to the highest bidder.
