If you thought the politicians were bad sports...

...check this out. This is a sports-related story but it deserves all the coverage I can possibly give it. Here's a teaser quote: "He is my son, I own the league, and he plays every snap on defense."

Unbelieveable.

I'd reckon there's a commissioner who needs to lose his job immediately; refund all the money to all the parents - including all the gas money parents expended taking kids to the games - out of his own bank account; apologize personally and publicly to all the players, parents and coaches; and never, ever, ever be allowed to attend or help organize or have anything to do with any football game or league ever again.

This father should get the football death penalty, and should be exiled to some place where football is never played, like India, where he will be forced to watch Cricket for days at a time.

Or he could be forced to watch Vanderbilt play football the rest of his life.
