"But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope."
I don't mind this so much. We KNOW she's not going to disappear (my preference). Why not put her in a position where she won't be able to spout off about her political views? The worst thing they could do would be to give her a talk show. However, I don't see how she can cause that much controversy at TPIR.Of course, if you actually watch TPIR, it is an unwelcome development. And if they moved TPIR to prime time, I'll be screaming, too. Having her relegated to a non-political morning show, though, seems okay to me.
Wow. I had no idea an outspoken lesbian had so much power to frighten. I wonder how we could get Bill O to switch from the Factor to Wheel of Fortune?
I'd hardly use the word frighten. I didn't particularly mind Rosie's old talk show but she's no game show host. I was about to say she'd be worse that Ricki Lake doing Gameshow Marathon last year but I have take that back. She won't be worse than Ricki but she'll be bad for the same reason. She's an attention hog.Gameshows aren't about the host. They're about the contestants and about the products. In the many, many years that Bob Barker has been host, we probably know less about him than we do about the denture cream that appears in the pricing games. Richard Dawson became a one-dimensional kissing machine in our minds because we don't really know anything else about him even though he spent countless hours chatting up contestants to fill time.An outspoken lesbian isn't the best pick. The outspoken part really does you in. Hardly frightening but I hate to see a show that's already going to have a hard time continuing on after losing its iconic host have a tougher time because the network execs are looking for a personality rather than a time manager with people skills.
Wow. Right on Peachtree, where have you been?LiberalandProud? Glad to see you made it home from the bar OK.Rosie has miscalculated badly. I never thought she would dive towards further irrelevance with such gusto.
