That's right. Coach Mark Richt is the class of the SEC. I've always thought so, and it would take an awful lot for me to think otherwise.

Yeah, I know he hasn't won a National Championship yet. But the average is 10 wins a season, and he gets those wins the right way.

When Georgia does win the National Championship, I will celebrate no matter who is coach. But it will be all the sweeter if it is Mark Richt raising that trophy.

I was watching the film The Blind Side recently. There are a lot of SEC head coach cameos in that movie. It struck me that NONE of them still have the job they had then. Holtz, Tuberville, Fulmer, Saban, Nutt, Orgeron... They're all gone. But Richt had his coaching position before the movie took place and he still has it today. We have a solid rock of a coach at UGA and I'm very thankful for that. It hasn't been all roses and unicorns but I feel we in the general sense keep moving in the right direction thanks largely to Mark Richt.

I like Mark Richt and agree he is classy, the class of the SEC.

But, looking at some of John Pennington's posts, Pennington's an idiot.

Well, he was right at least once. Only because he agrees with me. :)
